Ultra Low NOx burners incorporate two key technologies to lower burner peak flame temperature and NOx emissions. 

These Technologies Include:

• Flue gas recirculation

• NOx lowering mechanism is completely integral to burner design
• Steam injection not needed
• Uniform heat flux transfer to process tubes
• Capability to burn a wide range of fuels
• High turndown capability
• Multiple firing orientations (vertical up or down, horizontal)
• Adaptable for short flame length requirements

Typical Ultra Low NOx Burner Applications:
• Where very low NOx emissions are required
• Where uniform heat flux distribution is critical
• Most new process heaters today, particularly for U.S. West Coast and U.S. Gulf Coast
• Heater retrofits for Best Available Control Technology (BACT) NOx reduction
